FAQ
Do you ship discreetly?
Yes! Shipments are mailed in plain mailers or cardboard boxes, and will be from Flux Designs LLC. For US shipments, nowhere on the outside of the box will it say "chastity". International shipments are required by customs regulations to have a truthful declaration of the contents on the package, but this is in small text on the shipping label.
How long do your belts last?
With proper care and use, our belts are designed to provide many years of service.
Will you hold my keys?
No, we do not offer keyholding services.
Can I sterilize a flux chastity belt?
Our finishing processing gives the surface of our belts and smooth surface that's easy to clean with soap and water. However, we are not experts on sterilization methods, and we can't guarantee that any at home process will completely sterilize your belt. Boiling flux chastity belts is not recommended due to the risk of warping the polymer parts.
Who exactly do you make chastity belts for anyway?
We make chastity belts for consenting adults who are enthusiastic about chastity play. We will not knowingly make chastity belts for anyone non-consenting or underage. If we discover you are attempting to order a chastity belt for use by anyone other than a consenting adult, you will be banned from our products and services.
Do I need to use your measuring kit?
No, but you will need a specialized set of body measuring calipers, and our kit is the most economical way to get all the tools you need. If you go on to order a belt, the measuring kit includes a promo code for a discount equal to the cost of the kit. (Not including shipping.)
I have genital piercings, will these work with the Flux chastity belt.
Due to the wide variety of possible genital piercing shapes and placements, we can't say for sure, but probably. The cupped shape of the Flux comfort gives a more generous amount of space for the vulva than most other chastity belts.
Can I swim in the Flux chastity belt?
Yes. All metal hardware on the belt, with the exception of the locks (which are brass) is stainless steel. If you swim in saltwater, we suggest removing and applying a small amount of oil to the locks afterwards.
Can I bathe/shower in the Flux chastity belt?
Yes. All metal hardware on the belt, with the exception of the locks (which are brass) is stainless steel. You can bath using all of your normal products while wearing the belt.
Can I go to the bathroom in the Flux chastity belt?
Yes. The shield is designed with drainage holes for urination, and the rear cable is flexible enough to be pulled slightly to the side for defecation. Hygiene can be made easier with the use of a bidet or portable bidet bottle or wipes.
Can you send me extra/replacement keys?
No, we get the keys matched together with locks from our vendor and do not have the facilities to cut spare keys ourselves. However, belts and keyed alike lock pairs do come with 4 keys from the factory.
What materials and finishes are your belts made from?
The main body of the belt is a tough 3D Printed carbon fiber filled nylon. We hand finish all printed parts by both smoothing them and applying and Cerakote® ceramic coating. This gives a lightly textured, glossy surface that is more comfortable on the skin than an unprocessed 3D printed part.
All hardware except the locks is stainless steel. Since suitable stainless steel locks are not available, we use brass locks. The rear cable is stainless steel, with a nylon plastic coating.
Our belts contain no latex.
How can a 3D printed belt be comfortable and strong?
While 3D printing is a broad category of manufacturing technology used for critical parts across many industries, some people may be wondering this due to the association between 3D printed products are cheaply made trinkets. The answer comes down to a few factors:
- Materials: We use only high quality engineering polymers for 3D printing our belts.
- Design: Our parts are designed from the ground up to be 3D printed. The shape of our belts is not just chosen to be aesthetically pleasing, but also to maximize the strength of the material and process we use.
- Finishing: Our belts aren't done the moment they come out of the printer. We invest substantial care and time into quality control and surface finishing to makes sure your belt will be comfortable against sensitive skin.
How secure is the Flux Comfort?
Once locked or sealed on, a properly fitted Flux Comfort belt can’t be removed without opening the lock, breaking the seal, or using tools to destroy the belt. The combination of tough carbon fiber filled nylon and thoughtful design mean that the belt is virtually impossible to break by hand under normal conditions. The ergonomic shape means that a properly fitted belt can’t be removed when locked and provides excellent resistance to stimulation.
The seal provision allows you to use virtually unbeatable tamper seals to verify the security of your belt. Like nearly every other chastity belt on the market, our keyed locks are a necessary balance between compactness and security. Lock security is enhanced by our use of the original German made Burg Wachter ME/2 lock, and by deeply recessing the lock into the belt, making access to the small keyhole using lock picking tools more difficult.
Can I get measured in person?
Currently we do not offer this service. Our business operates out of a small space that is not open to the public.
Will you be making a version of the Flux Comfort for people with penises?
The short answer is yes!
The longer answer is we want to do this, and we want to make sure we do it right. We chose to launch with a belt for people with vulvas because we have a head start on the design and testing for this model. Right now our small team (of one) is focused on making sure all the final details for the belt for people with vulvas are dialed in perfectly. However, belts for people of all genders and all genital configurations are in our long term plans. We just want to make sure every detail is right, so we can make something you’ll love!
